Dear Friends:


The Ricardo Montalbán Theatre and Foundation, in combination with Tierra Blanca Arts Center, cordially invites you to the “Primera Muestra de Danza y Folklore Mexicano 2008” (The First Festival of Mexican Dance and Folklore 2008.

Blanca A. Soto, producer and founder of this magnificent project, wants to bring together several dance companies that represent México, to give our children and their families a great venue to demonstrate their talent and share with the rest of our communities our love for our Mexican’ roots. Our dances throughout the years have been passing on to generation in order to preserve the traditions and folklore. Today we have the strong need to give these entire dedicated dancers, a great venue to ensure their work is well appreciated. Dance, and in particular, Mexican dance through the years has been able to put smiles on the faces and fire in the hearts of thousands of children, and has left great memories in the lives of adults who had seen their work done.
The event will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2008, with two shows:

sorry eltororabon haven't seen theirs. but elnick makes a good point. I forgot to mention those important details. my group usually have from 2-3 buns on their head so that the hairpieces look big. Hope this somewhat helps.
